Version 9 of Solid Framework Released

Nelson, New Zealand—June 11, 2014— Solid Documents, a leading developer of document reconstruction and archiving software, today announced the latest release of its Solid Framework .NET Software Development Kit (SDK). Version 9.0 gives developers more flexibility in developing applications with the SDK. It is also designed to dramatically speed time to market for companies who use the SDK to develop or integrate document reconstruction and archiving applications within their product set. Solid Framework is immediately available for download from the Solid Framework Developer Portal.

  • Multi-processor parallel performance improves with OCR (scanned PDF to Word, scanned PDF to PDF/A)
  • Less complex XML output for .DOCX which improves machine consumption of output and improves editing of Word documents
  • Many PDF to Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel and text conversion improvements
  • Complex table reconstruction improvements
  • Data recovery from scanned PDFs into Microsoft Excel

Solid Framework comes in two editions: a tools version and a professional version and is immediately available for download. Pricing for internal use of the professional version of the SDK starts at $1500/year. Licensing is also available for public redistribution.
